Where did January go?!!Here comes the 1st Saturday of February SALE!!
The doors open at 9am February 4th
Be one of the 1st in the door for some incredible sale prices on quilt kits, fabrics,
and sewing machines and their accessories.
FIRST,look at the KITS! (We don’t have many of them, so grab one quickly!)
All kits are 25% off the marked price. This includes the bright spring cotton styles and the “Cuddle Minkee, too.”
NEXT, look at the fabrics on the shelves and in the floor boxes!

“WAITING FOR THE 1ST CUT DISCOUNT”
will have a one-day “1st Cut Discount” of 20% instead of normal 10%. These are brand new fabrics – some just arrived today! Only one of you will be lucky enough to get this discount!
THEN, look at the FABRIC ROLLS and “SKINNY” BOLTS!
- Any fabric roll or skinny bolt of 2 yards or less gets a 20% discount from the regular price. This includes the batiks and flannels, too.
- Find one that has 2 to 4 yards on it and get a 30% discount.
- If you find a bolt that makes your heart sing and it has 4 or more yards on it - but you just gotta have it – 40% is the discount!
Remember! A skinny bolt only gets the discount if you buy the whole thing!!
FINALLY, before you leave, look over the Janome sewing, embroidery machines and sergers.
They all have sale prices on them especially for the 1st Saturday Sale.
If you’ve seen one of the machines we have at a lower price somewhere else, let us know. We’ll match it if we can! Sue will be with us to answer any questions you have about the machines, too.
THIS SUNDAY IS SUPER BOWL SUNDAY
We’re not going to play any rough and tumble games, but we will race to finish theJELLYROLL 1600! If you haven’t called the shop to enter this fun event, do it right away. We still have a few spots left. Bring a jellyroll or buy one here. We will have event prizes, pizza and green salad during the intermission, and awards at the end. All this for only $25. The event starts at 1pm and ends at 5. We have 2 sample JellyRoll 1600 quilt tops hanging in the shop right now. Come see it, then join the fun on Sunday, February 5th!

Our fun chic woman’s clothing store is having a 1st Saturday of the Month sale also. They are located across the street from us – in the 1st location of The Quilter’s Garden. Chic Essentials has lots of fun items for you or a loved one for Valentine’s Day. Tell them ‘The Quilter’s Gardent sent you over!’

NEW MYSTERY QUILTS ARE HERE - PICK UP STEP 2 DURING THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY ONLY.
" The programs will start in January.
" This year we have one 6-month step of the month, and two 3-month mysteries.
" The 3-month mysteries are perfect for “snow-birds” or anyone who isn’t sure if they can come to the shop every month for 6 months!
" These mysteries must be handed out free-of-charge over the counter. I cannot mail them or give 2 copies to one person.
" Use your stash or take advantage of the Good BUY sale for your mystery quilt!
THE 6-MONTH MYSTERY IS CALLED “CHANGE IN THE WIND”
- Light: 5.25 yards
- Medium: 1.25 yards
- Medium Dark: 1.25 yards
- Dark: 1.75 yards
- Optional border: 2.5 yards
This quilt measures 68" x 85" without borders
With Optional border: it can be double or queen size.
“Make-up” or “I’m confused” classes will be offered every other month if you need help.

- One 3-month mystery takes 4 fabrics
- 2yds. light background
- 1.5 yards secondary accent
- 2.75 yards focus fabric
- 3.5 yards primary accent (.75 yards for the blocks and 2.75 yards for the outer border).
This quilt measures 88” square.
- The second 3-month mystery takes 3 fabrics
- 3 yards light background
- 1.75 yards main print
- 1.75 yards accent fabric
- There is an optional border which takes 2.125 yards.
This quilt measures 51” x 68” without the final border.
MONTHLY CLASSES
Make-Up or I’m confused classes will be offered every other month if you need help with the “Change in the Wind”. The 3-month mysteries will have monthly classes. Cheryl will teach one of the 3-month mysteries, Diane the other. You don’t need to come to class unless you want the companionship of sewing in a group or are a beginner and want to learn “the right way.” (Is there really only 1 “right way?”) You must pre-register for the classes. Each class is $5 if you’re doing it on your own, $15 if you’re there for instruction.
