We are Diane and Susan, mother and daughter. We started The Quilter's Garden in May of 2002 with 75 bolts of fabric and a dream -- were there other quilters in our small town? To our relief, the response was a resounding "YES"!
Our shop is full of beautiful fabrics, notions, and everything to make something gorgeous for your home, or a special gift for a friend or loved one. Above all, though, we're here for those who love to quilt, those who haven't tried it yet, and even those who just wanted to come in out of the rain. (One of our teachers, interestingly enough, is a woman who showed up on our doorstep one rainy afternoon a couple of years ago. She'd never quilted in her life prior to that day. We're glad she stopped in!)
The Quilter's Garden Club is the backbone of Duvall's Annual Outdoor Quilt Show. Join us! Our club members enjoy the camaraderie and encouragement of other quilters at The Quilter's Garden. Many of the quilts featured in the outdoor show come from our regular customers.

The first-year membership fee is $20; each year's renewal is $15.
One of the biggest highlights of the year is the Western Washington Quilt Shop Hop in June. We have participated in this for the past five years. Not only is our shop hop the largest in the world, it is also (we feel!) the best coordinated! We commision a special limited edition theme fabric by In The Beginning Fabrics and coordinating fabric designed by Clothworks each year. These fabrics do not go to any shop that is not participating in the Western Wshington Quilt Shop Hop. People come from all over the U.S. to join the fun, see the shops, collect their blocks and get some unique fabrics. Quilters of all levels drive from shop to shop to pick up the instructions for quilt squares and 3 pieces of fabric to make the coordinating block sampler quilt. It's all free, too! We work weeks in advance to get ready for a frantic 5 days of excitement and fun! Our shop is flooded with eager Shop Hoppers picking up that free block. The memories are cherished by all who participate.
Our store is a relaxing haven full of laughter, conversation and (typically), the hum of a sewing machine. We'll see you there, and thanks for visiting with us!
