Make them holiday or everyday.

Quilts of Valour "Under Our Wings"
The Quilter's Garden has registered as a "Quilts of Valor" shop. This is a non-profit program that provides quilts to wounded military personnel. The "Under Our Wings" part of the program introduces non-quilters to the fun of quilting by pairing the non-quilter (the Rookie) with an experienced quilter (the Coach). The Coach will bring a sewing machine and guide the Rookie to make a quilt that will go to a wounded soldier or sailor as recognition and a thank-you for serving our country. Call the shop to register as a "Coach" or a "Rookie". Patterns are free, there is no class charge. Any supplies purchased for this program will receive a discount. New red, white, and blue fabrics will be arriving soon. If you already have 100% cotton that you would like to use, bring it in.Quick Trip $40 +purchase of the pattern book at 20% discount
This quick and easy quilt resembles a traditional “Trip Around the World”, but there is only 1 seam to match in the entire quilt! How easy is that?! Six quarter yards and border fabric is all you need for class. Everyone has that in their stash.
Wayward Wind $35
This very interesting small quilt can be made as large as you like. Fat quarters or strips work with this pattern. Raid your stash – make a quilt!
Not Quite a Kaleidoscope $25
A print with lots of curves is ideal for this quilt. (Florals work great!) You’ll learn to match your print repeats and slice the squares. It’s fun and easy, too.
Quilt Binding $15
You do need a quilt ready for the binding for this class, but it could be as small as a place mat. Joining your binding strips on an angle, machine sewing the binding to the quilt, making a mitered corner, joining the ends of the strips on an angle, and hand sewing a “blind stitch” will all be covered in this class.
9-Patch Pizzazz $40 + purchase of the pattern book
This quilt is one everyone needs to make. It’s perfect for any large scale print and lots of fun to arrange the 9-patches to get just the look you want.
Serger Class $35
Bring your serger and learn how to really use it. Class projects vary from time to time, so call the shop to find out what the fabric requirements will be.
'Bag-ette' Purse Class $40 + pattern purchase at 20% discount
See Tam’s sample in the shop. She will show you some tips to make it a little easier to make, too. (This may be a 2 session class.)
The Gypsy Bag $35 (includes the pattern)
You’ve seen the samples hanging in the shop. This remarkable reversible purse grabs people attention wherever you go. Make it splashy-dashy or conservative. As long as your 3 prints compliment each other, you’ve got a great Gypsy Bag!
